Les Clefs d'Or Mexico

It was in the year 1993, in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, when the first association of our country was formed. Due to some of the founders’ change of residence, it was never incorporated into the UICH. Shortly after, it was dissolved.

In 1995, the first meeting of the national association took place in Mexico City, where concierges of prestigious hotels met weekly in order to obtain their main objective: to be officially recognized by UICH. On January 1996, Marjorie Silverman visited Mexico and oriented the members on the system of the UICH.

The motto “En Servicio a través de la Amistad” was adapted from the English version “In Service Through Friendship”. In 1996, 13 members of the Mexican association attended the Pan-American Congress in Los Angeles. It was there that the Mexican concierges accept to be united with Canada and the United States in the organization of the Congress of the Americas in 1997, part of which was carried out in Acapulco.

The Association of Concierges of Mexico A.C. was legally constituted in July 1996. At the International Congress of Rome in 1997, Mexico was accepted as a new section of UICH.

The Association of the Gold Keys is an international network formed by professionals who have common interests and goals. It does not have political nor religious leanings. It is an organization based on the friendship among members who attend to business travelers and international tourists.
